 Every year our Holiday Giving Program reaches over a thousand children in South San Diego County. Together with community members, organizations and businesses we are able to make wishes come true! There are various ways our generous sponsors help children in need during the holidays:
Adopt a Family
South Bay Community Services Holiday Giving program lets you "adopt" a struggling family or child in need for the holidays and assist them with some of their wishes and/or needs.
Unwrapped Holiday Gifts
Families are in need of blankets, linens, jackets, shoes and pajamas in various sizes. Toys, of course, are also accepted. New, unwrapped gift are donate for a child or teen, and then SBCS matches the gift with an appropriate recipient.
Holiday Meals
There is an overwhelming need for food supplies. SBCS currently assists more than 100 individuals a month with food needs. Individuals, families, neighborhoods, businesses or organizations are welcomed to help with a canned food drive or donation of a complete turkey dinner.
