Mental Health Program Aide

 

PART TIME
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, Department Director, the Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for contributing to the successful overall management of the agency by performing a wide variety of administrative, support and secretarial activities.

DUTIES:

  • Work closely with the Program or Department Director in preparing for meetings, conferences and ongoing work, as well as scheduling appointments.
  • Data entry
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all work including client files.
  • Ensure correspondence and documents are accurate by applying the rules of English grammar 
  • and punctuation in preparation and final review of materials.
  • Ensure that all materials represent SBCS in a positive and effective manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Department Director

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum one year administrative experience. Microsoft, Word, Excel, ACCESS and ability to type 40 wpm. Work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills. Ability to initiate, organize and implement. Work effectively in a team setting with diverse personalities. High school diploma required and some related work experience preferred
